Let TJK Movers Lighten Your Work

While the entire process of moving is stressful, the part that most people hate is the packing. Even if you live in a studio apartment, packing can take a long time as you have to organize, wrap, and box everything. Because it takes so long, many people leave packing until the last minute, which isn’t a great option. After all, if you’re pressed for time, you’re less likely to organize and wrap fragile items properly, which can lead to a lot of stress down the line.

Luckily, you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to! Our professional movers are also expert packers and can take on all or some of the duties while you focus on other aspects of the move. Our packing team will securely wrap, box, and/or crate your items to make sure nothing gets damaged in transit. All you have to do is give us a call so we can schedule an appointment for our professional NYC packers to check out your home or office. From there, we’ll assess your needs based on how much you have as well as your budget.

Our Packing Services

Whatever your needs, we can cover them. TJK Moving offers a range of full service packing, partial packing, and unpacking services. Our highly trained staff know exactly how to treat every item whether it’s dishes or tech equipment. Plus, we know how to pack! We’ll clearly label each box and only pack logically grouped items together by room. When you unpack (or if you leave it to us) it will be a breeze because everything will be organized properly.

We won’t brag too much, but we offer one of the best packing services in NJ. Just check out our online reviews! One of the reasons why our customers recommend us so highly is because we take the time to listen and work with them to figure out their needs. We’re not just going to suggest the most expensive service! Of course, it’s always good to know your options before you call us. If you’re interested in our NYC packing services, we offer the following:

• Full Service Packing

This is the perfect option for people who have zero interest or time to pack. Luckily, our expert packers can do everything for you. Nothing is too big or too fragile for us. We at TJK Moving have expertise in packing and moving pretty much every object. We’ll carefully handle, wrap, and pack everything into appropriate boxes and, of course, bring our own moving supplies. All you need to do is provide us with an inventory of your belongings and we’ll do the rest.

• Partial Packing Service

If you want to save a bit of money, you can always pack a few things yourself and leave the difficult stuff to us. Our packers are more than willing to give you a hand to pack and wrap whatever items you want. Some of the common areas we assist our customers with include:

  • Kitchen – we’ll pack all of your kitchen items including fragile items (glassware, plates, etc.) as well as appliances (mixers, kettles, etc.)

  • Living Room – we know how to handle every aspect of the living room from couches to TVs, sound systems, and lamps

  • Wardrobe – most homes have multiple wardrobes so we will pack and label each one separately

  • Bedroom – besides the standard pillows, linens, etc. we will also wrap and protect your mattress

  • Study – these rooms often include important documents, tech equipment, lamps, art, etc. All of which we know how to handle. With that said, if you do have important documents, you should carry these on your person or in a backpack/suitcase so you can easily access them

  • Bathroom – you probably don’t need to bring too much from your bathroom as you can easily pick up new toiletries, but we’ll pack whatever you request. We’ll even go the extra mile and tape down open containers so your toiletries don’t open up mid-transit

  • Garage – while we won’t pack your car, we’ll pack everything else in here including power tools, bicycles, and luggage.

• Unpacking Service

What’s worse than packing? Unpacking! It can be a huge chore, especially after you just managed to go through a move. So if you don’t want to deal with the hassle of unpacking, why not get our expert team at Great Moving to help you out? Much like our packing services, we offer full or partial unpacking. Just let us know what you need!

Our Top-Rated Packing Service Process

Once you’ve decided to add-on our packing service to your move, we’ll take you through our three step process. You get to decide if you want us to pack the day before or the day of your move. While you won’t have to pack a thing, we do require you to be on site to review the inventory and provide any instructions if the packers have any questions. Other than that, you can sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee while we do the heavy lifting.

Our process might be simple, but it’s effective and has earned us high-ratings from all of our customers. We’ll walk you through each step beforehand and, of course, will consult with you directly during the move so you know exactly what’s going on and can give feedback as necessary. When you hire us, our packing team will take you through the following steps:

• Create an inventory and list of items and rooms to pack with you. Our team will then plan your packing experience based on the inventory you provide, which we will review throughout the entirety of the move.

• Review fragile items to pack and consult closely with you in case there is any custom packing for specific items

• Pack items based on your schedule. We’ll arrive with all the necessary packing supplies at the agreed upon time. As we pack, we’ll label all the boxes and mark them off from the inventory list provided in step one. Once we unload your boxes, we’ll leave you with a copy of the inventory list so you can make sure everything is accounted for when you unpack.
